Importance of the Face-Off
Every game, every quarter, and after every goal (with a few exceptions) there is a face-off. This provides an opportunity to start every game, quarter, or after every goal with possession of the ball. Cliches such as "You can't score if you don't have the ball" and "the best defense is a good offense" prove the importance of controlling the face-off x. If you win more face-offs than your opponent you will have possession more, giving your offense a chance to put points on the board.
All players should remember to bring the following equipment to Camp:
- Helmet and mouthguard
- Gloves
- Lacrosse stick
- Elbow pads
- Shoulder pads
- Spikes (recommended) or running shoes
- Mesh shorts
- Water or replenishment drinks
Weather Policy:
Weather Policy: Texas Elite has a NO refund policy for bad weather. If there is a delay, cancellation, or hours added to camp from a rain delay from a prior day, Texas Elite staff will be in touch via the email provided in your camp registration with instructions on what to expect.
